Please join ANC 3/4G for a special meeting on public safety Monday, May 15, 6-8 PM, at the Chevy Chase Community Center and on Zoom. 

Our guests will be John Branch the new Commander, Second District, Metropolitan Police Department, and Elizabeth A. Wieser, Deputy Attorney General, Public Safety Division, DC Office of the Attorney General. 

Commander Branch and Ms. Weiser will give remarks followed by Q&A with the community. 

The meeting comes at a time of increasing public concern over crimes in the neighborhood, including recent gang shoplifting, carjackings, and robberies. Questions, comments, pleas for action have filled the listserv and social media in the last few weeks. 

The Commission is mindful of community concerns and has organized this meeting to allow neighbors to engage our law enforcement officials directly. Please come and participate.
