ANC 3/4G Racial and Social Equity Committee – CALL FOR NEW MEMBERS

Advisory Neighborhood Commission 3/4G is seeking expressions of interest from residents to participate in the Commission’s Racial and Social Equity Standing Committee (RASE). The Racial and Social Equity Standing Committee was established by the Commission to continue the work of its Task Force on Racism. Its purpose is to promote racial and social equity in Chevy Chase and the District of Columbia by advising policy, advocating for systemic change, engaging the community, and supporting education and data-driven decision-making. The committee is committed to ensuring fair treatment for those affected by systemic inequality. The RASE Committee typically meets on the third Tuesday of the month excluding the month of August with no meeting.
Deadline: Residents may acknowledge interest by sending an email to the Commission at 3G@anc.dc.gov and their ANC Commissioner by August 18, 2025.
