January 10, 2022 Update:

“The DC Office of Planning (OP) is looking forward to hosting the Chevy Chase Small Area Plan (SAP) Community Design Workshop on January 22. In light of escalating challenges presented by the ongoing pandemic, the workshop will be held virtually. The Community Design Workshop is the same date and time but will no longer be held in-person at Alice Deal Middle School. If you have already registered, there is no need to take action, you will receive a meeting link before January 22.

“If you have not registered, you can sign up for the virtual Chevy Chase SAP Community Design Workshop on Saturday, January 22 from 10am-12pm at: https://publicinput.com/chevychase

“The Design Workshop is an important part of the Chevy Chase SAP plan development process, where your ideas will inform urban design strategies and policy recommendations that will guide future growth along Connecticut Avenue while recognizing the successful characteristics of the corridor that are valued by the community. An online survey will complement the workshop January 24 – February 7.

“If you need reasonable accommodations (i.e. ASL), email Rita.Poindexter@dc.gov. For language assistance services (translation or interpretation), email Edward.Giefer@dc.gov. Please make requests 72 hours in advance of the meeting.”
